How estimates work

A meal photo is a starting point

AI uses visible food and the dish name or notes you supply to estimate a serving, nutrition, and purine content. Hidden ingredients, oils, sauces, and portion sizes can change the result. Review the assumptions and add details before scanning again.

Samples are prepared examples

The chicken kabsa sample uses the existing example values: 620 kcal, 48 g protein, and moderate purine. Its serving size is unspecified; the result does not establish the nutrition of the photographed portion.

Profile scores are not forecasts

The current dashboard uses a rule-based score derived from onboarding answers. It is not a clinically validated probability of a flare, and cannot predict a flare in the next 24, 48, or 72 hours.

Use your clinician’s guidance for medication, uric acid targets, and any fluid or dietary restrictions.
